Vehicle Crime Crime Prevention Alert

Dear Residents 

Over the past few weeks in Rossendale we have received numerous  reports of thefts of

“Tent Boxes” from the roofs of vehicles whilst parked up overnight. 

These are expensive items, please consider maybe removing the “Tent Box” over the winter months, if you are not utilising it. 

Criminals are obviously bringing tools to remove the “Tent Box” without being disturbed 

Maybe consider placing an Air Tag type tracking device in the “Tent Box” to aid it's recovery in case you are unfortunate to have yours stolen.
